Edgewood's Leagues and Outings

Edgewood offers a variety of leagues and outings for every occasion. Along with our outside league play, Edgewood conducts four leagues of our own, they are, Tuesday morning Ballbusters, Tuesday evening Hilltoppers (womens), Friday night Shepherds and the Friday night Couples. Below is a description of each league. Come join the fun and be a part of the action at Edgewood!! Call the golf shop 413-569-6826 on how to sign up.

Tuesday morning Ballbusters:

The Ballbusters is a morning league that tees off between 7 am and 9 am every Tuesday. This is an individual and team format that plays a point quota, based off of your handicap. We have two cookouts and a field day at seasons end for all the players.

Tuesday evening Hilltoppers (womens):

The Hilltoppers is a Tuesday evening womens league that tees off between 3:30 pm and 5 pm every Tuesday. Each week is a different event, anywhere from a Mutt and Jeff to a bring your own partner. This is a great league for beginners or advanced players, as we have four divisions for any skill level. Each year the Hilltoppers ends the year with a Banquet in the Fox Den.

Friday night Shepherds:

The Shepherds also play a point quota that is based off of your handicap and is an individual and team play. They tee off between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm every Friday night. The Shepherds have over 60 players in their league and are always looking for more. There is a mid year cookout and also an end of the year Field day.

Friday night Couples:

The Friday night Couples is more of a fun league, yet competitive, that was started only 4 years ago and is quickly becoming one of Edgewood’s most popular leagues. Each week is different format that ranges anywhere from a best ball to a modified scotch. They tee off between 4:30 and 6:00 every Friday night.

Outings:

Edgewood is here for your golf outing! We specialize in outings and no group is too big or too small. Whether you have 12 players or 200 players we can make it happen at Edgewood. Shotgun starts, split tees, or just straight starting times, we can handle and fit your needs. All you need to do is call!
